New York based designer Ross Menuez founded Salvor Projects in 2003. Menuez turned his focus to two-dimensional work and graphic textile experiments, now it has grown into a label of its own, complete with apparel and accessories line. The majority of which is still hand printed in his Manhattan studio.
Prior to founding Salvor Projects, he worked in offices in Europe, the United States and Japan after an early career that included running a metal shop, being a bike messenger, building houses for the Sandinistas during the Reagan era, tagging subways and attempting to build an airplane while in high school.
Salvor Projects is stocked in prestigious stores worldwide such as Dover Street Market in London, Maria Luisa in Paris, and Seven in New York as well as producing commissioned pieces for the likes of Bjork, Bruce Weber and Japanese artist Mariko Mori.
