Husam El Odeh studied fine art at the renowned Hochscheule der Kuenste in Berlin and worked successfully as an artist in Berlin until he moved to London in 1999. After becoming tired of the fine art world and doing a course in fine metal he debut his first jewellery collection in 2005 whilst still at university and he has collaborated with designers such as Marios Schwab and Acne. Balancing the tactile and visual, using dated materials, such as pearls and armour, Husam el Odah is able to create beautiful, statement pieces of jewellery a world away from their original, everyday state.
